"Her many readers find every visit to the village of Turnham Malpas as soothing and relaxing as returning to a favourite and much-loved holiday hideaway.''
Rebecca Shaw was a former school teacher and the Sunday Times bestselling author of 27 novels. She lived with her husband in a beautiful Dorset village where she found plenty of inspiration for her contemporary stories about rural life. Rebecca sadly passed away in 2015.
Rebecca wrote nineteen novels in her series about a fictional English village called TURNHAM MALPAS. The books chart the lives and loves of the village inhabitants.
Rebecca is also the writer of six novels about a veterinary practice in the fictional market town of BARLEYBRIDGE. The novels tell the stories of the vets, the veterinary nurses and the animals with which they are involved.
Rebecca has also written three eBooks: The Love of a Family, Curtain Up! and The House at Spinnaker Cove.
All of Rebecca's books remain in print or available as an eBook, or in some cases as an audio book. This is a tribute to the enduring popularity of her stories.
